A reward of 25% of the fine will be given to the person who provides reliable information (with evidence) about the persons committing the crimes of dumping garbage and discharging liquid waste in public places and water bodies.

The Panchayat Steering Committee is the most important committee formed to coordinate the activities of various standing committees in the Grama Panchayats of Kerala, formulate general policy of the Panchayat and expedite administrative matters.

  • Coordinate the activities of the Standing Committees.
  • Finalize the agendas of the Governing Body meetings.
  • Review the development activities, projects and finances of the Panchayat.

  • Make recommendations to resolve differences of opinion between the committees.
