A reward of 25% of the fine will be given to the person who provides reliable information (with evidence) about the persons committing the crimes of dumping garbage and discharging liquid waste in public places and water bodies.

Hospital Management Committee (HMC)

The Hospital Management Committee is constituted for the efficient management and development of hospitals under the jurisdiction of Panchayats, covering all systems of medicine, as per Section 173A of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, and the Kerala Panchayat Raj (Hospital Management Committees for Public Health Institutions) Rules, 2010.

The tenure of the HMC terminates with the expiry of the term of the Panchayat. As vacancies arise, the Panchayat must nominate new members to fill them. HMCs have the authority to make administrative decisions and oversee hospital development. The committee must meet at least once every three months and maintain accounts of income and expenditure along with official records, which are subject to audit by the State Audit Department.
